Rodman Public Library Renovations - Progress Photographs (Week of January 9, 2006)

Week of January 9, 2006: So much happened this week that we decided to give it its own page.

Offices Moved	Business offices were emptied in preparation for renovation	The offices are temporarily relocated to the auditorium
Books Moved	Moving carts full of books line up on the Mezzanine en route to their new homes
Mezzanine Prepared	The north mezzanine is readied for books to return	Shelving is set up on the Mezzanine
Alliance Room Closed	The Alliance Room is packed up and moved to a safe storage location	The Alliance Room will remain closed and its materials unavailable until its new space is prepared
Reference Department Readied	Microfilm readers, newspapers, and cabinets are readied for moving	Shelving in this area was moved to the north lobby area
Bookmobile Department Moved	Bookmobile offices were packed for temporary relocation in the processing department	Bookmobile offices emptied for renovation and expansion
Temporary Locations	Microfilm readers are temporarily relocated to the area by the public computers	Studs go up for the expanded Bookmobile offices
Elevator	Work continues inside on the elevator raising quite a bit of dust	Outside, the elevator shaft begins to take shape
