PRESENTING THE LIBRARY'S HOMEBOUND SERVICE

"Reaching out to those who cannot reach us" defines Rodman Public Library’s free Homebound Service. Residents throughout the Alliance area are eligible for the Homebound Service if they cannot visit the Library because of a physical disability, lack of transportation, long-term illness or recent surgery. Once a month the Bookmobile staff will deliver items to the patron’s home—whether private residence, assisted living facility, nursing home, etc. In addition to books, both regular and large print, patrons can request videos, music CDs, magazines and audio books on CD or tape by calling the Library anytime throughout the month.

To sign up for the Homebound Service or to receive additional information, contact the Library’s Bookmobile Department by phone at (330) 821-2665, through e-mail at or by regular mail at Rodman Public Library, 215 East Broadway Street, Alliance, Ohio 44601.
