215 East Broadway Street Alliance, OH 44601 330-821-2665 Purchase a Brick for Rodman LibraryRodman Public Library’s commemorative brick campaign is well under way, but we still need everyone’s support to maintain the excellent services that we provide to the community. You have the opportunity of seeing your name in print on a brick that will be displayed permanently in our outdoor reading area in the new bird and butterfly garden courtyard. The Library has launched this exciting new program to entice you to become even more involved in your library than you already are and provide acknowledgement of your involvement to the community. Libraries mean different things to different people. They can be a resource for enjoying children’s story hours, gathering information for high school and college term papers, preparing for a job interview, pricing an antique, doing research for a personal project, or for simply seeking a quiet place to read. Over the past 100 years, the Rodman Public Library has become a leader in many areas, including both information and technology. By purchasing a brick, you will help Rodman to maintain that leadership position and continue to provide the services that the community has requested. Our goal is to provide you with unmatched services – services that you want now, and services that you will need in the future. Here are some interesting bits of information that you may not know about your Alliance community library:
Rodman’s goal is to provide the community with the best information resources and services as possible. With your help, as an individual, a family, an organization, or a corporation, we can continue to do this. The purchase of a limited edition commemorative brick offers a unique opportunity to honor a friend or relative. Or, even to remember a graduation, birthday, anniversary or other special event. Think of displaying your favorite book title, quotation or inscription that means something special to you. Show your support as a local business that takes pride in its community. The possibilities for participation are endless. To participate, simply print, fill out, and mail in the accompanying form [PDF]. Additional forms are available in the Main Library, 215 East Broadway St. and the Carnation Mall Branch. For questions, call (330) 821-2665. Our goal is to complete the project by the end of June. Let’s make this a wonderful and successful community project that will last for years to come. |
