World War II Veterans' Recognition Program

On Friday November 2, 2007, Rodman Public Library, in partnership with VFW Post 1036, American Legion Post 166, and AMVETS Post 124 hosted a reception to honor and thank Alliance-area veterans who served in World War II.

There was a brief program of recognition during which World War II veterans took the opportunity to introduce themselves and state the branch of armed services in which they served and where they served.

In addition to the reception, the Library is featuring a display of World War II memorabilia in the Main Reading Room and Gallery which the general public is invited to view throughout the month of November.
