Rodman Public Library to Present "Small Town Stories"

Local history buffs, proud citizens and the general public are invited to attend a 4-part series at Rodman Public Library in March and April to hear "Small Town Stories" presented by local historical societies. The first will be the Alliance Historical Society with "Lost Alliance" on Tuesday, March 18 at 7 p.m. in the main library’s auditorium.

Scheduled for April 1 is Marlboro Township Historical Society. Societies from Deerfield and Beloit will share the spotlight on April 15. The series will close April 29 with a presentation from Washington Township Historical Society.

These groups will share some of their history and heritage by highlighting specific events in the development of the local area. Everyone is encouraged to come learn of their neighbors and the historical significance of their respective communities.
