Friends of Rodman Library Annual Used Book Sale

Book Sale shoppers look for bargains
The Annual Friends' Book Sale supplies
lots of books, magazines, and other items for bargain hunters.

The sale will take place during Carnation Festival Week, Sunday through Wednesday, August 9-12.

The sale will be held at the main library. Items for sale will be on display in the auditorium, Children's program room and gallery. Items for sale include books, paperbacks, computer software, videotapes, CDs, audio tapes, and magazines.

A list of collectible books to be sold will be made available before the sale. Collectible books and books in sets will be on display in the glass cases in the gallery between the auditorium and children's program room throughout the sale. Please ask one of the Friends for assistance with these items. The average price is $10; all are priced separately.

The Library cheerfully accepts book donations for the Book Sale at anytime during the year. The drop-off is located at the Adult Circulation Desk at the Main Library.

We prefer books and magazines that are in good condition. We cannot accept weekly news magazines, catalogs or moldy items.

Funds raised during the book sale are used to buy equipment for the Library and fund special projects.

The Friends organization looks forward to the community's support of the Used Book Sale project.

Book sorting happens all year long

Friends' volunteers sort books all year for the Sale.
