Rodman Public Library hosts a monthly support group for the caregivers of adults experiencing challenges such as Alzheimer’s disease or dementia. The next meeting will be Thursday, Sept. 25, from 2-4 p.m. Caregivers have the opportunity to share with each other the challenges they are meeting, plus ideas and any suggestions and information of assistance that may help others in the group.
Meetings are led by trained volunteers from the Canton Area Office of the Alzheimer's Association and will take place in the Main Library Children’s Program Room. The facilitators are Judy Wilkins, LPN and Tina Domer, RN. Sessions are free and open to the public. For more information on this support group call 1-800-272-3900.
