Rodman Library invites teens ages 13-18 to transform themselves into a true “creature of the night”.
Movie makeup expert Kim Alberts will show teens how to transform themselves into the “walking dead”. Once made-up, teens can pose to have their picture taken in front of a specially designed backdrop. Teens will be given a print copy of their photo to take home.
Alberts has a Bachelors degree in theatre, specializing in costume, wig and makeup design, and a Masters in Library Science from Kent State University. She worked in costumes at the Cleveland Playhouse and was a freelance costume designer from 2004-2008. She is currently the Children’s/Teen Librarian at the Hudson Library.
Registration is required by Sat., July 28. There is a limit of 20 participants. Participants should wear old clothes for this event. The program will take place on Saturday, August 4, at 3 p.m. in the Main Library Auditorium. For more information, or to register, call 330-821-2665, then press “0”.
