Teens, are you tired of all the lovie-dovie Valentine’s Day mush? Yes? Join us on Thursday, Feb. 13, from 3 to 5 p.m. as we celebrate Un-Valentine’s Day in the main library’s auditorium. Do black roses, chocolate hearts and cookies with an Un-Valentine’s message sound good? If so, you’ll enjoy crafting roses from black duct tape, molding your own black chocolate heart suckers and decorating heart-shaped sugar cookies with a message.
While you’re working on your crafts, a Valentine’s related movie will be playing that you’ll be able to text comments about onto the video screen for others to enjoy. Also during the movie a game called “Spot the Mustache” will be ongoing. You’ll have to come to the library to learn more about this game – and to win a prize. No registration is needed. You just need to be age 12 to 18. See you on the 13th.
