Winter Olympic Fun for Kids
Did you know that the Olympic Games began sometime in the ninth century B.C. and had only one event - a sprint? Celebrate the Olympics with us in the Children’s Program Room at the main library on Monday, Feb. 17, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Children, ages five and up, will have fun with the Olympic-sized games such as “Pool Noodle Hurdle Relay”, “Mini Snowball Race” and “Olympic Ring Toss”. Children will also enjoy making an Olympic torch or playing the “Hoopla Game” and “Olympic Trivia”. Join us at the library and test your skills. You, too, can be an Olympic athlete.
No reservations are needed for this event. Children under 10 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. For more information, call the Children’s Department at 330-821-2665, ext. 223.
