What to Buy: Personal Electronics Buying Basics

A summer class being held at Rodman Public Library examines the different computing devices available for purchase. In this class, instructors discuss the advantages and disadvantages of desktop and laptop computers, notebooks, tablets and eReaders. Students learn how to choose what technology is best for them and to make informed decisions of the retail back-to-school sales.

The class begins at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 13, and lasts approximately one hour. It is held in the computer classroom of the Main Library at 215 E. Broadway St. in Alliance. Class is limited to 15 people. Registration is required and accepted by telephone beginning on Monday, August 6. To register, call 330-821-2665.
