Are you a book lover? Are you interested in meeting other book lovers to compare notes and have a lively discussion? If so, join us at the evening book discussion group Monday, Nov. 3, at 6:30 p.m. in Rodman Public Library’s Conference Room. Shepherd: A Memoir, by Richard Gilbert, is the book choice for discussion.

“When moving to Appalachian Ohio with their small children, Richard Gilbert and his wife are thrilled to learn there are places in America that haven’t been homogenized. Their excitement over the region’s beauty and quirky character turns to culture shock as they put down roots far from their professional jobs in town.”

Richard Gilbert teaches writing at Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio.

The book is carried at Rodman Main and Branch Libraries. Come to the meeting and bring a friend. For more information, call 330-821-2665, ext. 208.
