Alliance's Big Guns

The Alliance Historical Society will present a program at Rodman Public Library, Monday, April 1, at 7:00 p.m., on the large military guns that were manufactured in Alliance in the late 1800s and early years of the 20th century. Don Shaffer will discuss the history of the manufacture of military machinery for the U.S. Government by Morgan Engineering. Shaffer and his son Chris have compiled a large collection of photographs which will be used during the presentation.

This presentation will be held in the Rodman Main Auditorium. The program is free and open to the public. No registration is needed. For more information, call 330-821-2665, ext.101.
