Ohio Homecare Program
Community Information Meeting
Rodman Public Library hosts a monthly support group for the caregivers of adults experiencing challenges such as Alzheimer’s disease or dementia. The next meeting will be Thursday, Sept. 24, from 2 to 3 p.m. Caregivers have the opportunity to share with each other the challenges they are meeting, plus ideas and any suggestions and information of assistance that may help others in the group.
Are you a book lover? Are you interested in meeting other book lovers to compare notes and have a lively discussion? Join us at the evening book discussion group Monday, Oct. 5, at 6:30 p.m., in Rodman Public Library’s Conference Room. Ashley’s War; the Untold Story of a Team of Women Soldiers on the Special Ops Battlefield, by Gayle Tzemach Lemmon, is the book choice for discussion. The title is carried at Rodman Main and Branch Libraries—also available electronically. Come to the meeting and bring a friend.
A community spinning group meets at Rodman Public Library on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 9:30 a.m. in the front window area of the main lobby. The next meetings are scheduled for October 6 and 20. Bring your fibers and wheel or spindle. Anyone who spins, or who wants to learn how, is invited to network and compare notes.
Rodman Public Library has many books suited to every skill level and capable advisors to help locate the needed information. For more information on this or other programs/services offered by the library, call 330-821-2665, ext. 107.
