The basics of reading and sending emails as well as how to attach and open attached files will be explained using a free email account from Google. This class is especially suited to those who do not currently have an email account and are interested in creating one.

Attendance at Internet Basics or prior experience with using the Internet is preferred.

Watch, listen, and learn about some of the must have apps for the Kindle Fire HDX. We will be discussing how to download ebooks, audiobooks, and more. You are encouraged to bring your charged Kindle and sign-on information to follow along. Basic device knowledge is recommended for this session. In Intro to Windows 8 we will be covering the basics to get you up and running on your new Windows 8 PC.  We will demonstrate how to navigate through this new interface to find many of the common desktop components you are used to on a Windows computer and show you how you can customize this new app. based system to fit your interests-- plus a whole lot more!
