There's an App for that!: An Apple a Day

Join in as we learn about some of the best free apps (plus a few new ones) for your Apple product. We will also be discussing some user tips and tricks. Don’t forget to bring your charged iPad/iPhone and App Store password to follow along. Basic device knowledge is recommended for this session. The sessions will be given at the Main Library on Monday, June 23, from 6:30-7:30 p.m., and Wednesday, June 25, from 10:00-11:00 a.m.: the Branch Library on Tuesday, June 24, 2:00-3:00 p.m.

Basic Computer: Learning to Use Email

The basics of reading and sending emails as well as how to attach and open attached files will be explained using a free email account from Google. This class is especially suited to those who do not currently have an email account and are interested in creating one.

Attendance at Internet Basics or prior experience with using the Internet is preferred.

In Intro to Windows 8 we will be covering the basics to get you up and running on your new Windows 8 PC.  We will demonstrate how to navigate through this new interface to find many of the common desktop components you are used to on a Windows computer and show you how you can customize this new app. based system to fit your interests-- plus a whole lot more!

Touch Typing Basics

Excel Basics
