Basic Computer: Windows

Become familiar with Windows in this class as you learn about the common desktop elements such as what the Start Button can do, how to resize windows, and how to create a shortcut. *Prior experience with using a mouse is preferred. APM 4/7/2015

Basic Computer: Email

The basics of reading and sending emails as well as how to attach and open attached files will be explained using a free email account from Google. This class is especially suited to those who do not currently have an email account and are interested in creating one. *Attendance at Surfing the Net or prior experience with using the Internet is preferred. Basic Computer: Windows 8

Are you struggling to find where things are on the new Windows 8 interface? In Intro to Windows 8 we will be covering the basics to get you up and running on your new Windows 8 PC. We will demonstrate how to navigate through this new interface to find many of the common desktop components you are used to on a Windows computer and show you how you can customize this new app. based system to fit your interests-- plus a whole lot more! *This class is demonstration only. Come join in as we learn about some of the must have apps (plus a few new ones) for your Android or iOS device. Bring your tablet or smartphone if you are interesting in downloading and trying out some of the apps discussed in this class.

Basic device knowledge is recommended for this session.
