Froggy Storytime with Hot Pots

Children, ages 3-12, are invited to Rodman Branch Library for a Froggy Story Hour on Wednesday, May 20, at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, May 23, at 11:00 a.m. A story will be read first at the Branch Library, then children and their guardian will proceed to Hot Pots to make a ceramic frog. A $10.00 fee will be collected for supplies on the day of the program that will be payable to Hot Pots. Snacks will be offered. Registration is required for this event and can be made by stopping in at the Branch or calling 330-821-1313.


Art Gala

Family and friends are invited to join in the celebration as the Rodman Public Library Children’s Department wraps up its “Summer Art Experience” on Saturday, July 25, with an Art Gala from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Children, ages 5-13, have been working with local art instructors during June and July, creating a wide variety of art pieces.

Just for Girls' Book Club

Girls, ages 8-11, are invited to meet in the Children's Department at Rodman Public Library for the Just for Girls' Book Club. Meetings are held the third Wednesday of each month from 4:15-5:00 p.m. (except for August 26th the 4th Wed.). Meetings include a book discussion, games and other activities associated with the book.  Girls must be able to read on a 4-6 grade reading level.  Books may be checked out four weeks in advance of the book discussion date.  Registration is required.
