Children of all ages are invited to an animated Drive-in Movie on Saturday, June 18, from 10:00-11:30 a.m., in Rodman Auditorium. Visit a thriving mammal metropolis where animals from every environment live together and have a profession. When the police force hires its first rabbit officer, she learns that being the new bunny in a department of really tough animals is anything but easy. She jumps at the chance to solve a case to prove she is capable at her job, even though she has to work with a cunning fox who makes things harder.
Join us at Rodman Public Library every Thursday, June 9 through July 28, from noon to 1:00 p.m. For children, ages 3 and up, and their families, Book F.E.A.S.T. replaces Storytime at the Main Library. Staff will share books on the 2016 Summer Reading Program theme “On Your Mark, Get Set…Read”. For every five books checked out, the child’s name will be entered into a weekly drawing to win prizes during the Thursday program.
Rodman Public Library offers children the chance to try their reading skills on local therapy dogs on Fridays, June 10 and 24 and July 8 and 22. These specially trained dogs will “listen” to stories in the Children’s Program Room at the Main Library.
