Just for Boys Book Club

Boys, ages 8-12, are invited to meet in the Children’s Department at Rodman Public Library for the Just for Boys’ Book Club. Meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month from 4:15-5:00 p.m. The next meeting is July 13, and includes a book discussion, games and other activities. Children must be able to read on a 4-6 grade reading level. Participants have a four-week checkout of a selected title one month in advance. Registration is required. Children's Drive-in Movie

Children of all ages are invited to an animated Drive-in Movie on Saturday, July 2, from 10:00-11:30 a.m., in Rodman Auditorium. A long-lost panda father reappears and he and his reunited son set out on an adventure to a secret paradise only to meet with a supernatural threat, and a threat a little closer to home. You may bring your own blanket or previously made cardboard box car. Children of all ages are invited—under 10 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. No registration is needed. Rated PG. Turtle Tales with Hot Pots

Children, ages 3-12, are invited to Rodman Branch Library for a Turtle Storytime on Wednesday, May 18, at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, May 21, at 11:00 a.m. A story will be read first at the Branch Library, then children and their guardian will proceed to Hot Pots to paint a turtle figurine. A $10.00 fee will be collected for supplies on the day of the program that will be payable to Hot Pots. Snacks will be offered. Registration is required for this event and can be made by stopping in at the Branch or calling 330-821-1313.
