Seahorse Storytime with Hot Pots

Children, ages 3-12, are invited to Rodman Branch Library for a Seahorse Storytime on Wednesday, July 27, at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, July 30, at 11:00 a.m. A story will be read first at the Branch Library, then children and their guardian will proceed to Hot Pots to paint a seahorse figurine. A $10.00 fee will be collected for supplies on the day of the program that will be payable to Hot Pots. Snacks will be offered. Registration is required for this event and can be made by stopping in at the Branch or calling 330-821-1313.

Whale of a Tale Storytime with Hot Pots

Children, ages 3-12, are invited to Rodman Branch Library for a Whale-of-a-Tale Storytime on Wednesday, June 15, at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, June 18, at 11:00 a.m. A story will be read first at the Branch Library, then children and their guardian will proceed to Hot Pots to paint a whale figurine. Chip Richter Concert

Chip RichterJoin us on Wednesday, June 15, at 6:30 p.m. in the Main Auditorium as singer-songwriter Chip Richter serves up stories, songs, and smiles “Family Style”. Chip’s concerts feature something on the menu for everyone. It’s a recipe for “more fun than a kid should be allowed to have” as Chip delivers healthy portions of love and laughter for all ages to enjoy!

Ready, Set, Polka!

Nationally known accordion player and children’s polka musician Mike Schneider (a.k.a. Uncle Mike) from Milwaukee, WI, will be performing his Pint Size Polkas after hours on Friday, July 8, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., in Rodman Main Auditorium as part of the 2016 Summer Reading Program.

Juggling workshop with Ted Bowen

Juggling clubsJuggler Ted Bowen of Alliance will be offering three weeks of free juggling lessons for children, ages 10 to 15, on July 1, 15 and 29, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., at Rodman Main Auditorium. Bowen, who juggles many balls simultaneously using large foam hands as well as juggling many other items, has been juggling for 15 years at various community events and teaching juggling for several years.
