Make-A-Car for the Drive-In Movie

Children of all ages are invited to make and decorate their own cardboard box car on Tuesday, July 7, from 10 to 11 a.m., in the main library Children’s Program Room. Participants may then use their car to “drive” to a Friday morning Drive-in Movie on July 10, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., or July 24, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The movie shown on July 10 is about a family of former crime-fighting superheroes, living quietly in the suburbs, who are required to rescue the world from destruction.

Friday Morning Drive-In Movie

When he's accidentally shipped from Hollywood to New York City, he must rely on the help from his two newfound friends -- an abandoned house cat and a television-addicted hamster as he embarks on a cross-country quest to get back to his owner.  Enjoy an old-fashioned "Drive-In" experience.
