"Snowed-In" - at the Library

Enjoy winter without the cold! Rodman Library will host “Snowed In… at the Library”, on Saturday, February 28, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. for children, ages 5-10, in the main auditorium. Listen to winter stories while drinking hot chocolate. Create a decorative snow shield to use during an indoor “snowball” fight using soft, stuffed snowballs. Attendees can also practice their throwing skills by hitting snow targets.

This program is free, but does require registration. Call 330-821-2665, ext. 223, or stop by the Children’s Desk to register.

Penguin StoryHour with Hot Pots

Children, ages 3-12, are invited to Rodman Branch Library for a Penguin Story Hour on Wednesday, Jan. 28, at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 31, at 11:00 a.m. A story will be read first at the library, then children and their guardian will proceed to Hot Pots to create a ceramic penguin figurine. A $10.00 fee will be collected for supplies on the day of the program that will be payable to Hot Pots. Snacks will be offered. Registration is required for this event and can be made by stopping in at the Branch or calling 330-821-1313.

Children, ages 3-12, are invited to Rodman Branch Library for a Valentine’s Story Hour on Wednesday, Feb. 11, at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 14, at 11:00 a.m. A story will be read first at the library, then children and their guardian will proceed to Hot Pots to create a ceramic heart plate. A $10.00 fee will be collected for supplies on the day of the program that will be payable to Hot Pots. Snacks will be offered. Registration is required for this event and can be made by stopping in at the Branch or calling 330-821-1313.
