Wee Read at the Main Library

Wee Read, a program offered through the Children’s Department, is designed to introduce children to books, fingerplays and music incorporating the six early learning skills. Patrons, ages birth through two years, and their parents or caregivers are invited to Wee Read, Monday evenings at the main library, May 4, 11 and 18, from 6:30-7:00 p.m. and Wednesday mornings at the main and branch libraries, May 6, 13, 20 and 27, from 10:30-11:00 a.m. Sessions last 20-30 minutes. There will be no Wee Read on Monday, May 25, due to Memorial Day. No registration is required. Come as often as you like.

Children's Christmas Program

Magic fun for everyone

Nationally known “Master of the Impossible”, Tim Angeloni, will be performing his legendary magic show at Rodman Main Auditorium on Saturday, December 6, from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. As a member of the International  Brotherhood of Magicians and the Fellowship of Christian Magicians, Angeloni has been entertaining audiences for over 35 years across the nation from the Pittsburgh Children’s Museum to Branson, Missouri and Atlantic City, New Jersey.

No registration is required. Come as often as you like.

Cheerful Tree Storytime with Hot Pots

Children, ages 3-12, are invited to Rodman Branch Library for a Cheerful Tree Storytime on Wednesday, Dec. 10, at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 13, at 11:00 a.m. A story will be read first at the Branch Library, then children and their guardian will proceed to Hot Pots to make a 6-1/2 in. ceramic Christmas tree figurine. A $10.00 fee will be collected for supplies on the day of the program that will be payable to Hot Pots. Snacks will be offered. Registration is required for this event and can be made by stopping in at the Branch or calling 330-821-1313.
