Have you always wanted to start your family tree, but were unsure how? Join Lauren Landis, Genealogy Division Manager, and staff members of the Stark County District Library Genealogy Department as they present a series of genealogy classes for the “budding genealogist” on Tuesdays, September 11, 18 and 25, at 6:30 p.m. in Rodman Library’s main auditorium.

SARTA will present a Travel Training Session at Rodman Main Library on Tuesday, December 11, from 11 a.m. to noon. Whether you're concerned with easing the strain on our environment or the strain on your wallet, Stark Area Regional Transit Authority (SARTA) is something to consider.

SARTA's Travel Trainers will talk about our public transportation system, how to use it and how to plan trips. A 31-day bus pass is available the first time you attend a Travel Training Session. A picture ID must be presented to receive a pass.

Are you a book lover? Are you interested in meeting other book lovers to compare notes and have a lively discussion? If so, join us at the evening book discussion group Monday, June 3, at 6:30 p.m. in Rodman Public Library’s Conference Room.

Rodman Library welcomes Alliance Community Hospital. 

Hospital staff will be at the Library from 7:30-9:30 this morning to check blood sugar for anyone who has fasted for eight (8) hours.

They will also test blood pressure on a first-come-first-served basis.

Anyone who wishes to be tested should through enter the south-facing doors off the parking lot. should park in the rear lot and enter the south-facing door.
