Children's Halloween Party

The Children’s Department at Rodman Public Library will be hosting a Children’s Halloween Party on Saturday, Oct. 22, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. This event will include Halloween games, stories, riddles, music, dancing, treats... and more. Be sure to bring your camera to take a picture of your little ones in front of our fall backdrop. The program is open to children, ages 3-12, accompanied by an adult. Learn to Crochet

A crochet class for beginners hosted at Rodman Library starts Tuesday, Oct. 4, from 6 to 8 p.m., in Rodman Main Gallery. Taught by Jane Graham, a member of the KnitWits Needlework Circle, the classes will continue to meet on Tuesdays, Oct. 11, 18, and 25. Participants will learn how to crochet a dishcloth. Those attending will need to bring a size G or H crochet hook and one skein of Peaches and Cream Yarn in the color of their choice.

Summer Art Experience Art Gala

The public is invited to attend our 5th Annual Summer Art Experience Gala. Students ages 5-13 who have taken art lessons at the library during June and July will have their pieces on exhibit in the Auditorium, Gallery and Children's Program Room.  A slide show of photographs taken during the art lessons will be shown in the Children's Program Room. Refreshments will be served in the auditorium. (3-22-16 jm)
