Are you curious to see what Windows 10 is like? We will demonstrate how to navigate through the Windows 10 interface and show new elements such as the Edge browser. This class is demonstration only.
Reading and sending emails, plus attaching and opening attached files are explained using a free email account from Google. The class is suited to those who do not currently have an email account and are interested in creating one. Prior experience with using the Internet is preferred.
Become familiar with Word through an overview of this program—word processing, how to copy, paste, add page numbers, format a document, and use templates. Attendance at Computer Basics or prior experience with Windows is preferred.
The focus will be on various search engines, and how to become a better Internet searcher. Prior experience with using the Internet is preferred but not necessary.
Learn the basics of the computer and common desktop elements including the power button, Start menu, windows, and files. There will be a short introduction on the functions of the mouse and keyboard.
