Needlework Help

Need help with a needlework project? Jane Graham, who teaches the needlework class, will be at the main library on the second and fourth Mondays of the month – from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.– following the KnitWits class. She will help you find a solution or answer for that crochet, knitting, or any other type of needlework project you are doing. No registration is needed. Just stop in. "Today's Tech: Generationally Speaking" (OBOC event)

The first event of the 2016 One Book One Community, featuring the book "A Deadly Wandering" by Matt Richtel.  This will be a panel discussion/presentation format, moderated by Chris Schillig.  The panel will be represented by high school students, college students and millenials addressing how cell phone use impacts their lives.  Alliance High School principal, Shawn Jackson, will also address how the use of hand-held technology effects classroom teaching.
