May the 4th Be with You

Teens, ages 12-18, are invited for an afternoon of crafts, snacks, and fun as we celebrate Star Wars fandom in Rodman Main Auditorium on Wednesday, May 4, from 3 to 5 p.m. Create “May the 4th Be With You” cards or a “Star Wars crayon Death Star”. Make a Chewbacca bookmark and a Star Wars popsicle stick ornament. The final craft of the day will be turning pretzel rods into light sabers by dipping pretzels into liquid chocolate and adding embellishments. While the crafting is happening, the movie Star Wars: Episode IV will also be playing.

Murder Mystery

Join us on Thursday, July 14, from 3 to 5 p.m. for a “Mystery Theater” but without the murder. A pretend crime is committed by one of the acting participants — teens ages 12-18. It will be the teens’ jobs to sort out the clues and decide by the end of the program “who done it”. Costumes and props will be used to bring the theater alive. Teens are encouraged to come dressed for their part or to bring their costumes with them. Food will also be served as with any mystery theater.
