Richard Haldi presents The Meyers Lake Story: a Mansion in the Wilderness, on Monday, October 3, at 7:00 p.m., in Rodman Main Auditorium. Haldi, who resides at Meyers Lake and runs a guesthouse next to his home, brings a fascinating story to the audience about a wealthy foundry owner from Baltimore, Maryland. Mr. Andrew Meyer had an unusual dream after the War of 1812. He wanted to build a mansion in the wilderness of Ohio.
Rachel Krych will present a fun and interactive couponing class for beginners, as well as for those who have been couponing several years, on Saturday, Sept. 24, from 2 to 4 p.m., in Rodman Main Auditorium. The class covers many different topics such as where to get coupons, how to organize them, where and how to stack coupons, and how to shop at stores. Krych, a stay-at-home mom with three boys, has been couponing for five years with the results changing the way she shops.

Looking for a way to unwind for a few minutes… or longer? Join our adult coloring group and unleash your creative self. We will meet every third Monday of the month through December, beginning on September 19, from 6:30-7:30 p.m.; then again on October 17, November 21, and December 19, at the same time. Coloring pages (all skill levels) and colored pencils are provided, or you may bring your own. Feel free to bring a snack to share, we will provide the cups, plates and napkins. This coloring group is open to teens and adults. No registration is needed.
Dorsey Ney, of Healthy Heart-Healthy Pleasures, will offer a one-hour class on “De-Mystifying Meditation: Simple Ways to Manage Stress”, on Saturday, Oct. 22, from 2 to 3 p.m., in the Main Auditorium. This class will allow participants time to relax and experience several tries at the meditation process. If possible, please bring a stiff pillow and a blanket for use on the floor. If sitting on the floor is difficult, participants may remain seated in a regular chair and still derive good benefits from the class.
