Do you like things a little out of the ordinary to cook – or eat? Are you in sticker shock regarding the price of groceries or the charge for “ramps” or “fiddleheads”? Can you even find them in your supermarket? Do you know what they are? It won’t matter if you can’t find them in your supermarket, because you can find them yourself if you know where to look. The subject is wild food and there’s plenty available. In fact, most are considered weeds.
The ‘KnitWits’ Knitting Circle of Rodman Public Library meets on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at 10:30 a.m. at the Main Library. Meetings for this month will take place on November 11 and November 25. Knitters, and other needle workers, are invited to network and compare notes.
