Author Carol De Grange

Carol DeGrange, author of The Ming Legacy, a mystery novel set in China and a second novel, The General’s Horsewoman, will be speaking on Saturday, April 4, at 2 p.m. in Rodman Main Auditorium. Carol is a retired teacher who became interested in writing about China after spending two years teaching there. She taught British and American literature and culture. While in China, she and her husband traveled extensively. Upon return to the U.S., Carol published a book of photographs entitled: China at the End of the 20th Century.

Teen Movie Night

All teens, ages 13-18, are invited to see a free movie on RPL’s big screen in the auditorium on Tuesday, July 7, at 5:30 p.m. A high school senior who thinks everything is fine at school learns that she has been given a belittling nickname and sets out to right the wrong.The movie is rated PG-13. OSHIIP-Medicare Summer Series

Do you have questions about Medicare? We have answers! Mercy Medical Center presents a one hour Medicare informational talk on Thursday, May 14, at 10 a.m., followed by the opportunity to ask questions from 11 a.m.to 3 p.m., at Rodman Main Auditorium. An Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program (OSHIIP) representative will be at Rodman Library to answer any questions or concerns seniors might have about their Medicare coverage, health plans, HMO’s, prescription drug coverage and much more.
