Plant Strong Diet

Alliance City Band/Mu Phi Epsilon

Former Alliance City Band member and historian, Paul Hobe, returns to Rodman Public Library to present a program on the history of the Alliance City Band on Monday, Oct. 21, at 7 p.m. Hobe was involved with the Alliance City Band from 1961 to 1992, when the group signed off properties to the Alliance Symphony Orchestra Foundation.

Children's Halloween Party

The Children’s Department at Rodman Public Library will be hosting a Children’s Halloween Party on Saturday, October 26, from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Lots of fun stories, activities and games will be set up throughout the Children’s Department and auditorium. Children will also collect treats to take home.

No reservations are required and the program is open to children ages 3-12 with an adult. Halloween costumes are optional but encouraged. For more information, call the Children’s Department at 330-821-2665, ext. 223.

Lego Splash!

Build with Legos at Rodman Public Library when the Children’s Department hosts Lego Splash!

 The program will take place from 2:00-3:30pm. The theme for the month is "In a Book".

We provide the Lego and Duplo bricks, you provide the creations! The program is open to all ages. No registration is required.

Teens, ages 12-18, gather your friends and come to Rodman Public Library on Tuesday, Decmeber 10, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. The library is hosting a day of vintage gaming in the main auditorium. Ever wanted to play the role of landlord? How about diving into a fantasy world where dragons, secret agents and dinosaurs battle for supremacy, or maybe challenge your friends to a series of 60 second whacky events? There is room for card players as well. Simply bring your most powerful card and duel it out with your friends. All of this is going on at Rodman Library. No reservations are needed.

Teen Movie Premier

All teens, ages 13-18, are invited to Rodman Library for a Movie Premiere on Tuesday, Dec. 3, at 5:30 p.m. A young woman learns that she has descended from a line of warriors who protect her world from demons. Facing the danger, she, and those like her, band together to venture into an alternate New York. The movie is rated PG-13 and will be viewed on the library’s big screen in the main auditorium. The movie is free and open to all teens.

All teens, ages 13-18, are invited to Rodman Public Library for a Movie Premiere on Tuesday, November 12, at 5:30 p.m. A young boy learns that he has unusual powers and is of an alien race. When Earth is invaded by this same race he must now try to save his adopted world from destruction. The movie is rated PG-13 and will be viewed on Rodman Library’s big screen in the main auditorium.
