Monday Book Club

Are you a book lover? Are you interested in meeting other book lovers to compare notes and have a lively discussion? Join us at the evening book discussion group Monday, April 3, at 6:30 p.m., in Rodman Public Library’s Conference Room. Circling the Sun, by Paula McClain, is the book choice for discussion. The title is carried at Rodman Main and Branch Libraries -- also available electronically. Come to the meeting and bring a friend.

Book Feast

Join us at Rodman Public Library every Thursday, June 8 through July 20, from noon to 1:00 p.m. For children, ages 3 and up, and their families, Book F.E.A.S.T. replaces Storytime at the Main Library. Staff will share books on the 2017 Summer Reading Program theme “Build a Better World.”

Snowed-In at the Library

Enjoy winter without the cold! Rodman Library will host “Snowed In… at the Library”, on Monday, February 20, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., for children, ages 6-10, in the main auditorium. Listen to winter stories while drinking hot chocolate. Create a decorative snow shield to use during an indoor “snowball” fight using soft, stuffed snowballs. Attendees can also practice their throwing skills by hitting snow targets.
