Wee Read at the Main Library

Wee Read, a program offered through the Children’s Department, is designed to introduce children to books, fingerplays and music incorporating the six early learning skills. Patrons, ages birth through two years, and their parents or caregivers are invited to Wee Read, Monday evenings, Aug. 3, 17, 24 and 31, from 6:30-7:00 p.m. and Wednesday morning at the main library, Aug. 19 and 26, from 10:30-11:00 a.m. Due to the Used Book Sale, there will be no Wee Read at the main library on Monday, Aug. 10 and Wednesday, Aug. 5 and 12.

Superhero "Minute-to-Win-It"

Based on the popular TV Show, children from ages 5-12 can sign up to do a superhero challenge within a minute. Registration is required for the 1 to 2 p.m. session or the 3 to 4 p.m. session, both on Saturday, Aug. 29. For more information, stop by or call the Children’s Department at 330-821-2665, ext. 223.

Patrons, ages birth through two years, and their parents or caregivers are invited to Wee Read, Monday evenings at the main library, from 6:30-7:00 p.m. and Wednesday mornings at the main and branch libraries, from 10:30-11:00 a.m. THERE WILL BE NO WEE READ AT THE MAIN LIBRARY ON WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 5 AND 12, AND MONDAY, AUGUST 10, DUE TO THE USED BOOK SALE. Sessions last 20-30 minutes.
