Girls, ages 8-12, are invited to meet in the Children's Department at Rodman Public Library for the Just for Girls' Book Club. Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month from 4;15-5:00 p.m., and include a book discussion, games and other activities. Children must be able to read on a 4-6 grade reading level. Participants have a four-week checkout of a selected title one month in advance. Registration is required. Participants need not attend all sessions. The public is invited to attend our 5th Annual Summer Art Experience Gala. Students ages 5-13 who have taken art lessons at the library during June and July will have their pieces on exhibit in the Auditorium, Gallery and Children's Program Room. A slide show of photographs taken during the art lessons will be shown in the Children's Program Room. Refreshments will be served in the auditorium. (3-22-16 jm)
