Valentine Storytime with Hot Pots

Children, ages 3-12, are invited to Rodman Branch Library for a Valentine’s Story Hour on Wednesday, Feb. 15, at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 18, at 11:00 a.m. A story will be read first at the library, then children and their guardian will proceed to Hot Pots to create a ceramic heart plate. A $10.00 fee will be collected for supplies on the day of the program that will be payable to Hot Pots. Snacks will be offered.

Spinning Circle

A community spinning group for those who know how to spin fibers and those who would like to learn. Bring your fibers, wheel, or spindle. cd

Spinning Circle

A community spinning group meets at Rodman Public Library Branch on the first and third Tuesdays of each month, from 9:30 a.m-12:30 p.m. Bring your fibers and wheel or spindle. Anyone who spins, or who wants to learn how, is invited to network and compare notes.

Storytime at the Branch Library

Rodman Library Branch will host Storytime for 3-5 year olds. Patrons may attend Storytime on Tuesday evenings, from 6:30-7:15 p.m. or Thursday mornings, from 10:30-11:15 a.m. The goal of Storytime is to encourage life-long readers through stories, music, movement and activities. Pre-registration is not required. Storytime will resume at the Main Library on Tuesday, February 7.
