Storytime at Main and Branch Libraries

Rodman Main Library and Rodman Library Branch will host Storytime for 3-5 year olds. Patrons may attend Storytime at either location on Tuesday evenings, Jan. 6, 13, 20 and 27, from 6:30-7:15 p.m. or Thursday mornings, Jan. 8, 15, 22 and 29, from 10:30-11:15 a.m. There will be no Storytime on Thursday, January 1, due to the holiday closing. The goal of Storytime is to encourage life-long readers through stories, music, movement and activities. Pre-registration is not required.

Patrons, ages birth through two years, and their parents or caregivers are invited to Wee Read, Monday evenings at the main library, from 6:30-7:00 p.m. and Wednesday mornings at the main and branch libraries, from 10:30-11:00 a.m. Sessions last 20-30 minutes. In Intro to Windows 8 we will be covering the basics to get you up and running on your new Windows 8 PC.  We will demonstrate how to navigate through this new interface to find many of the common desktop components you are used to on a Windows computer and show you how you can customize this new app. based system to fit your interests-- plus a whole lot more!
